Performance & Physiotherapy

Your training doesn't exist separately from your body.

Performance & Physiotherapy brings running coaching and specialist physiotherapy together, giving you joined-up support around your training, strength, recovery and performance.

The idea

One runner. One plan. One conversation.

Too often, your coach and physiotherapist work separately. And too often, runners only turn to a physio when something goes wrong.

Your coach understands your training. Your physio understands your body. But you’re left trying to connect the two.

Performance & Physiotherapy brings them together.

Through ongoing communication, we work collaboratively with you to adapt your training as you progress, respond to setbacks, and keep your training moving in the right direction.

THE SOLUTION

Two disciplines working as one.

Physiotherapy isn’t just there to help you rebuild when you’re injured.

Movement screening, strength capacity testing, and load management can help structure your training, build resilience and reduce your chances of injury before they happen.

  • Coordinated training and rehabilitation

  • Appropriate progressions

  • Tailored return to run programs

THE PROCESS

How it works.

UNDERSTAND

STEP 1

We start with your goals, training history, lifestyle, and injury history.

STEP 2

ASSESS

Where appropriate Matt assesses your needs and identifies how physiotherapy and strength training can support your running.

STEP 3

ALIGN

Your training, rehabilitation or strength work are planned around the same objectives.

STEP 4

ADAPT

As you progress, or as setbacks occur, your coach and physio communicate and adjust your plan when needed.

The value isn’t simply having a coach and a physio.

It’s having two professionals who communicate, share the same goals and work together around your needs.
